Went to Roxy last night . . .

This is a dance bar in Boston that is rated 9.2 out of 10 on CitySearch. Why? I dunno. It is passable as a place you want to go to more than once a year. LOUD dance music that doesn't transition well from one song to another. Most patrons were 3 sheets to the wind . . .perhaps a pre-requisite of the place to endure the monotony?

All I ask for is a place where a 30-something guy can enjoy a cool night out without having to step lively to avoid getting toes mashed and perhaps not have to dodge tiara-wearing "Brides gone wild" and their packs of she-devils.

Can I get an Amen??
